Major UK Insurer

A major UK insurer commissioned Brandex iMarkets to revue their current
Affinity Scheme offering. Working with both the Insurer and the broker we quickly
identified that the product offering had slipped behind those of their competitors,
following an analysis of the alternative products available.

The information and process provided online to attract new business was
confusing and potential clients were ‘dropping’ out of the quote process before
obtaining a quote. A few simple changes were made to the Brokers quotation
process including reducing the question set by half following negotiation with
the Insurer. Our experience of Underwriting helped us to understand what was
needed by underwriters, but also assisted the broker by supporting what was
‘nice to have’ by way of information, but was killing the quotation numbers.
